How Muffle handles private stuff
No legal wording, no small print. Just an honest account of what Muffle holds and how to let go of it.
What Muffle knows about you
Your email address and your first name. That's the whole list, and both are there for one reason: to let you back into your own space. Nothing about you is sold, and nothing is shown to other people using Muffle.
What Muffle keeps on your device
Your saved context note and your Muffle's Desk records are kept in your own browser, on the device you're using. They aren't published, and they aren't passed to anyone else. Clearing your browser, or using the delete buttons in Muffle, clears them.
When Muffle reads something
Muffle only reads what you choose to show it. It reads that message so it can write you back a short version and a calm reply suggestion. The original stays where you put it, and Muffle doesn't send anything anywhere without you asking it to.
Deleting everything
The Privacy button inside Muffle has a single “Delete everything” action for what's held on your device, and each message and each matter can be cleared on its own too. If you'd like your account details gone as well, ask Muffle's owner and it will be done.
Who runs Muffle
Muffle is made by Cadi Catlow. It's a correspondence companion — not a law firm, and not legal advice. It doesn't escalate situations: it buys time and helps you cope with stressful correspondence, dripfeeding information paraphrased to remove demands.
